Reopen Only Daycare

I want a grant so I can reopen a daycare facility in my small community. The owner got brain cancer and could no longer operate it. The building is a perfect set up for daycare/preschool. I need money to buy all the things for inside:kid's tables/chairs, utensils, cups, bottles, dishes, toys, educational puzzles/games,cribs/sheets,large throw rugs and office furniture including one monitor for cameras and 2 computers. Its the only one in our town and parents would bring back their children. I'm doing survey and there are surrounding towns that would bring their's as well.

Hard working mom cyber scammed!!!

Hello I am a mother of 3 who is doing home based daycare and have been advertising on Craigslist, FarMoor online and various other regional websites that are free to post ads. Well I have gotten many legitamite responses and am very thankful. I have received this one and the lady sent me a deposit check for her 3 kids for 1090. Well when I cashed it the bank deposited the cash into my account and 5 days later it was found out the check was no good. Meanwhile I had spent the money on bills, groceries and items for my daycare. Now my bank is coming at me for the money and I have no way of paying it back. I have explained to them what has happened but they don't care. I know they are a business and are looking out for themselves and that is fine. I get paid weekly by my 2 charges but they only add up to 175 a week. I am supporting 3 children on my own. How can I try to pay the bank back and keep a roof over my kids heads? I have bad credit and can't get a loan and besides if I got a loan it would take me at least a year to pay it back. I am looking for a miracle and hope that people learn from my mistakes. I am just beyond saddened by the depravity of some people in this world who would randomly take advantage of a stuggling mother whom is trying to start a legit business.

Bessing's Blessing Daycare Center

Good day!

Looking for grants for a Daycare Center which encourages children to be the leaders of tomorrow. The center also helps parents with everyday life problems such as bill help, food assistance, school-related information and many other kinds of assistance. With all these offerings, however, the business needs funds to keep this kind of thing going. Where can I find good grants?

Please feel free to e-mail BBDC10@gmail.com if you have this information or if you have opportunities that may help BBDC; your time is appreciated!

About kbillups

The good old boys' network has taken another black male to jail. My husband stood up for his rights and filed complaint against an officer that was power crazy. Now he is in jail for assualt against an officer for 10 months with no prior assualt charges against him. His lawyer was supposed to defend him but we knew something just wasn't right when he kept promising to make certain statements and ask questions while in recess during his trial however on the contrary when we would return to the courtroom nothing was down. I told my husband it was time to address the judge but some how he thought that even without the lawyer on his side the court would see the truth.  After his trial we returned to the courtroom only to find his public defender and the officer who made the false claim laughing together and talking about their weekend  golfing, unaware that we stood directly behind them. At this start of all  of this we had an African American woman but suddenly she no longer worked for the Public Defender's office and this "lawyer" took over the case. Still to this day we have no idea about what happened. Without looking at us in the eyes she said she will no longer be able to handle the case...the end.

Now my life is upside down. Suddenly, I'm forced to survive without any kind of support. I have a 1 & 3 year and paying for daycare while trying to keep my job and maintain a home and trying to give them some stability until their father returns is definitely a struggle. I need $1000/mth for daycare for the two of them for the next 9 months in order to keep things going and not losing everything that I have. I don't own a home. I make too much money for government assistance and too little to survive. Its like you have to hit rock bottom in order for someone to recognize that you need help. If I had somewhere to go like move in with a family member I would but I dont have that option other than moving my children into a shelter that around here we would probably be on a waiting list to get into. I don't want to become dependpent on anyone. I know that my husband will return home one day and at a minimum be able to be with our children while I work and even though we will not be able to save money we will at least be able to live check to check.

My bills are continuosly falling behind because I have to have my babies somewhere while I work until midnight. In this economy if I lose my job I will not find another like it. I have no savings to fall back on and nothing to sell or even have collateral to take a loan out against something. Its the little things, my car needs an inspection and my tires will not pass because I can see the fibers starting to show. Food and gas are a struggle. My electric has a cancellation date on the 10th of this month.

I'm not sure who to turn to so I send my prayer for support during this challenging time for my family to the world if anyone can help me please do.

Home business Idea

This if for all the mothers out there, are you looking for a career that will allow you to say at home with the kids? Then check out the rulles and regulations for your city and open a in home daycare. With an in home daycare you can spend time with our babies while watching othIf you have a nutritional meal menu the government will even help with the cost of meals. I have found that in most cities and states the license is easy to get and some times the state walfare will even pay for the cost. Another great idea is to have the carecare listed with the walfare as they will recommend it to other mothers that are working and trying to get off walfare and the benefit..the government will pay you. Should you need any further assistance please send me a message and I will help ou locate your state and cities rules and regulations.

My Grant Basics 101 Podcast!

I have created a Grant Basics 101 Podcast!  It is fairly new and has a bit of information on it and I hope to update it soon.

So far I have a caller who is asking about grant programs for his for-profit daycare center.  You can hear both his call and my answer to him by going to the podcast's main page at:

GOING TO WORK AND HAVE CHILDREN IS IT POSSIBLE?

Many childcare centres frown upon parents who still bring their children to the facility when they are clearly sick. While this may seem irresponsible and disrespectful to the centre and the perfectly healthy children, what are you to do when there are no other options?

Many permanent or full time positions now offer family leave for situations such as this and some parents choose to utilise their own sick or holiday leave to stay at home with their child. This is particularly difficult for parents with relatively young children who often get repeatedly sick with colds and minor viruses when first attending daycare.

The other concern is what if you have a deadline that has to be met? While the good ol’ grandparents, aunties, uncles and friends make great babysitters, often these situations arise at short notice and during the working week. Gone are the days where it was deemed appropriate to bring your child into work and sit them in the corner with some crayons and paper, so what options do you have?

With the latest technology many jobs can be completed from home. This is an option that you should talk about with you boss prior to a child becoming ill. Utilising your time in lieu is another option. Many people work extra hours and combine this time to take a day off a month or fortnight. If you recognise early on in your child’s life that they are prone to getting sick, then maybe this a way that you can collect extra family leave. This option should also be spoken about with you superiors. Remember preparation is the key! Discuss your options when you first start back at work so everyone knows the plan. It is probably wise to keep other colleagues abreast of your projects and have a ‘wing man’ if you for some reason you cannot meet a deadline

About needhelp80

I am a single mother that seves my country with the U.S. Army.  I have 2 small children ages 5 and 6.  My ex husband, who cheated on me the entire time I was in Iraq fighting for this country, only send $400 to take care of both the kids...nothing more.  The state had to garnish his wages because he didn't even want to send that.  With the $400 and what I make a month I JUST break even.  That means I have to pray that I have enough money for gas, groceries and daycare/afterschool care.  I am starting to get really disheartened thinking that there would be more resources out there for single moms in the military but there aren't...much less for single civilian moms.  I am DESPERATE ... otherwise I would never send out this email.  If it is on your heart to help me i can be reached at divinely_protected80@yahoo.com  Anything would do...if you are able.  For those who want to but are not in the position to I thank you for the thought and pray God blesses you and yours.

SAHMOFTWO

About SAHMOFTWO

Hello,

I am a full time stay at home mother of two children who was scheduled to attend AACC starting August 25. My husband walked out on us. He left nothing in the bank. We had just moved to Millersville, MD to be closer to his family. I have no family or friends here. My family is unable to financially/physically assist me. I have bad credit from an old bankruptcy, so getting a credit card or loan is out of the question.

I am trying to be proactive and help myself. The positive steps that I have taken are:

1. I applied for Food Stamps.

2. I found and was offered a Job.

3. I posted items on the For Sale area of Craig list in order to raise money.

Things that need help with:

1. I can not afford Daycare for two children to start my new job. I just need help until I have a few paychecks.

2. I can not afford to pay for my books for this semester. They cost $500. Once, I start my job I can make payments.

3. I need to find an affordable place for the children and I to live.

3. I need financial/physical assistance moving.

I appreciate your assistance.

Sincerely,

Carmen
